My first business was in the e-commerce sector in a highly competitive niche, I was massively frustrated with the lack of effective online marketing. I was paying marketing companies thousands of pounds a month to conduct marketing which simply was not working. I had 10 e-commerce stores which I need to promote thousands of products. I needed scale and needed to learn SEO fast, so I purchased every book and online course I could find on the subject and got to work.

I got great results and was getting thousands of visitors to my e-commerce sites each day, not long after my friends started asking me if I could work on their sites. At this point the niche I was in had become very competitive, it started with 5 stores selling these products and ended up with 10,000.

I decided to shift my focus on supporting businesses of all sizes promote their websites online, that was the birth of seodesk.co.uk. In the beginning our core service was search engine optimisation, however over the coming months that evolved into the full digital marketing solution we have with Digital Marketing Desk.

I now run a flourishing business, with 10 professional staff members helping over 150 customers. At Digital Marketing Desk, we adapt each campaign to the needs of the client’s business, from an FTSE 250 corporation to small, local firms.
